 Over the 97 years Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. has existed , it has been a significant contributor to the world in all areas of human endeavor. Kappa Men have lead society in areas of honorable pursuits more particular in the area of Business, Education, Science , Politics, Sports and the Arts.
The Akron Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is an extension of the National Organization. It has been in existence in the greater Akron and Canton area since 1955. Also its contribution to the Akron metropolitan area has been equally impressive. Dedicated to the principal of Achievement, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.‘s Akron Alumni Chapter provides a wide range of services for the Akron Metropolitan area, including but not limited to: assistance to the elderly and children, programs to assist young boys in pursuit of leadership development, completing school and matriculating in college. Helping families in need, citizens education about politics on local and national levels and how they impact our community. Toy drives for children, Scholarships, cultural arts, and social activities for adults. From 10 members in a small house in Bloomington, Indiana to over 120,000 members worldwide and in cyberspace, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is a significant contributor in fabric of our lives.
