On December 13th, 2008, members of the Akron Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. fellowshipped at the home of past Akron Alumni Polemarch, W. Byron Calhoun and his lovely wife Allison. Brother Calhoun, who is currently a member of Cleveland Alumni Chapter and proprietor of Calhoun Funeral Home and Cremation Services, opened up his home to the brothers and their silhouettes for a bit of holiday celebration.

The brothers ate, drank and bonded before departing to The Taste of Christmas, Cleveland Alumni Chapter's premeire event  for the holiday season.

Bro. Calhoun's Pre-Taste was attended by, Past Polemarch James Forney and wife Cindy, Past Polemarch Orlando J. Williams, Esq. and wife Giselle, Polemarch Abraham Wescott and wife Angela, Vice-Polemarch Kirk D. Shelton and fiance Tonya Woods and Keeper of Records Frank M. Williams and his wife Cassandra.
